Hi, I just bought SSD. Is there anyway to transfer the OS from the HDD to the SSD without being needed to reinstall the windows back? The HDD that I install my windows has 3 partition , C (where window were install), E and F in it. It is possible to keep the other 2 partition (E and F)? And I found this tutorial while searching for it but it is wrote nearly 2 years ago, it is still valid to be use? SSD - Install and transfer the Operating System - Windows 7 Forums

Thank you.

I got a bit of problem here. I already install the SSD onto my desktop but I dont know what wrong I might done, the windows cannot be loaded from the HDD. "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key". So I insert Windows 8 cd. I try the automatic repair but it failed. When I try to refrsh your pc option it say that "the drive where windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive an try again". So any thought how to unlock it? As I see this is the last option I have.
