I recently replace my Cambridge Audio USB DAC stick with Audioengine D1 USB DAC. With the Cambridge product I could toggle Windows' system sound on an off with a hotkey setup I set up using NirCmd. But the hotkey no longer works with the Audioengine. Is this issue specific to Audioengine D1 as this article suggests or does it affect any DAC that does not require a Windows drivier?
