Solved Thoughts on Windows Phone 8?

My 8.1 updated to OneDrive yesterday so I don't have to wait until Patch Tuesday.

Oh? I just checked for updates and there wasn't one. I had a Flash Player update yesterday and the usual Defender ones. I thought we Americans came before the Brits, but I guess I'm mistaken.

Did it update on your phone?

Didn't get it through Windows Update I just went to my SkyDrive online and it told me it was changing, can't remember if I had to click something or not but it showed as OneDrive when I left the site. Just looked at my phone, which is a Nokia Lumia 520 Black, and that's showing as OneDrive and I didn't do anything to that so it updated itself.

My computer nor my tablet shoes onedrive anywhere, they all still say skydrive, on all 5 computers running windows 8 pro 8.1
I went to the store looked up Onedrive, nothing there only skydrive, very weird
On my windows 7 computer skydrive updated itself

I opened SkyDrive on my phone yesterday and it indeed updated before my eyes within the app, not on the usual update page. It now says OneDrive. It hasn't updated on my Acer tower with 8.1. Strange. :huh:

OK just seen where the confusion is, I said in my post that I'd gone to Skydrive online and been told about the change and then got it there, plus my Nokia Lumia Windows phone updated itself.

My Notebook running 8.1 though is still showing as being Skydrive when I look in the library so that has not changed name yet which is the only one.

My Outlook Mail had already updated when I had to view my contact list......there were all those new icons for those new items,

Yes, I missed that key word "online".

I would imagine PCs will change to OneDrive via an update this coming patch Tuesday.

Above in my post.. that update was on my Gateway laptop...Windows 8 .when I opened my contact list ( People )
it was already on my laptop... from the previous old Skydrive
