There should be more App stores for Windows 8 like Android!

I think there should be more stores for Windows 8 Apps and not just Windows store. Just like Android has many stores for its Apps. This would make Windows 8 a more open system than what Apple's ios has and this would contribute to Windows 8 success against Apple's ios as Windows 8 would then have more appeal in the masses. What's your viewpoint? :)

Never gonna happen for "metro." For desktop, steam will be rolling out more stuff.

True, but then a pit fall would be that if it's more open, it can be less secure. Theoretically, you could have regulated stores, but it seems like the purpose would be defeated.

But I do know that Intel has an app in the Windows Store that is basically an Intel app store and a finder for the best Windows 8 apps.
