So I recently restored my computer and went to install all possible updates and now pinned taskbar icons can't be changed. I think it has to do with an update released sometime in the past month or two because I noticed my family computer also has this problem. So I restored mine back to factory and can change icons once again. I didn't install/modify anything apart from windows updates. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've not experienced this, nor heard of anyone else who has. 
Do you mean the icons for the loaded windows lined up on the Taskbar, or the icons of the programs showing within the System Tray?
