Sync Outlook contacts ?

I have two laptops, Windows 8.1 and 10, both using Outlook in Office 365.
Is it possible to sync my contacts (address book) between them?
If not, is there a simple way to transfer/update changes made in one to the other?

You just have to login with Microsoft account on both systems and that should be it. (Don't really remember anymore, haven't used the Contacts application before)

I am always logged in to MS when using either laptop.
But I don't think that does anything unless it is set up to - but cannot see any way to do so !
And I don't know what you mean by "contacts application" - I know of no such app.
My query was about Outlook email client.

Oh sorry, also there is one in Windows 8.1 preinstalled.

Sorry, I don't use Windows apps, only programs, I don't want to change my email client.
