Solved Synaptics (touchpad) driver not installing

So I was updating my drivers, and had wanted to update my Synaptics driver. I had removed the older version of Synaptics driver (because I was required to) and wanted to restart. My computer restarts, and I try to install the latest version of the Synaptics driver, it doesn't work. It says "install failed." I have tried multiple times.



Any help would be appreciated! :thumb:

You need to try different drivers to find suitable driver, try the driver from HP download, you could also download from Synaptics, try from major geeks for a start, one of these drivers should work for you.
Try installing without re-booting, it may help.

That's the older version, the one that works but is outdated. I guess I'll just stick to it then. Thanks for the help anyways!
