Solved Suddenly deleted C:\ProgramData folder no start menu items

I just Suddenly deleted C:\ProgramData folder and now no item is in start menu and so search feature is useless as it won't find any app and anything was before in start menu page, so what's best way to solve it?

Hello flashpoint, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Check your Recycle Bin to see if it may still be in there. If so, then you could just restore the folder from within the Recycle Bin.

If not, then you could do a system restore using a restore point dated before you deleted the folder to restore it to how it was when the restore point was created.

Thanks so much I just forgot about system restore and I found a proper restore point in this morning right before my mistake and now everything is back!
