Hello this is my first post so if I did something wrong please tell me so.
Attached is my computer specs, if the image does not work here is an imgur link to my specs:My specs - Imgur.
So, I was looking through my father's old video games. I found a Prince of Persia:The Two Thrones copy. I tried to install it, but it wanted me to restart to complete the installation. I complied and restarted my computer. However, it gave me a message saying "Your computer needs to be repaired, error code:0xc0000225". I tried many different things, but eventually at the error screen I hit f8, then f7(f7 apparantly disables driver somethings...) and I was able to startup. So, I am making this post on the same computer I have trouble with.
I do not have the windows8 backup CD, since this is an HP Laptop which did not come with a CD for windows 8, and instead had it pre-installed. So, is there any way to stop this error message from coming up ever again? I uninstalled that stupid Prince of Persia game since I thought it changed up drivers, but my main concern is not the game, but the error message. How can I get rid of this? If you all need any more information I am happy to provide it.
EDIT:Forgot to mention that all my programs are working nicely. It is just that stupid error message I want to get rid of, so if I need to do something with my computer I believe I will have full access to CMD and other programs. I just want to be able to boot up my laptop without having to hit F8 and F7 at an error screen.
