Speaker Configuration only Stereo option available problem

So i just got a pair of new headphones that are 7.1 sound (GXT 363 7.1 Bass Vibration Headset) and when i went into the speaker configuration i only see the option to select stereo

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97P-D3
And i have installed all the drivers from the website as well as checked every other driver on my pc

That headset is USB, thus does not use the PC's sound card (Realtek). Configuration and options are dependent on drivers and associated software from the headset vendor.

There is an updated driver listed on their web site. Have you tried this?

Yes i have installed all the latest drivers, even uninstalled my current one and installed the one on the website again, and my old headset that has a jack had all the options, 5.1 and 7.1 but i couldn't use them of course because my old ones are only stereo (turtle beach recon 60P) Anything you can suggest?

Try a complete new install. Plug the headset in then go to the Device Manager and uninstall it in the Device Manager and also uninstall the drivers. Then disconnect the headset and restart the PC (DO NOT skip the restart). After it is started, install the driver FIRST and then connect the headset after drivers are installed.

If it still does not work correctly, best to contact the headset company.

Yeah, did every step you said in order and just saw the stereo option there, nothing else. The bad part about it is i have already sent them an email about it four days ago and still no response.
