Hi all
Finally got BOTH my Sony MMC stick AND the SD card to work (plus other drivers) on W8 Consumer preview
All the drivers for this series of computers -- hard to find as they aren't on Sony support sites and I HATE those type of sites like DriverMax where they sucker you in with "Free !!!!!" Downloads and then you have to PAY a fee for accessing a possible part of the site that you are interested in
The only thing that's missing is the webcam -- not that I use it much but I've copied simply the EXE file from an old generic XP app called amcap
This works fine on the vaio so I'll attach as a generic driver in another post
