Hello all, I am very new to the forum

I have a problem with dual boots. I created a USB boot drive and I was able to boot up into an install menu and up to the license agreement screen, and following screen.

Welcome to EightForums, TORO35.

Go ahead and select custom install. The next screen screen should give you the choice of drives/partitions.

thanks for quick replied. I did that and it comes up with the following screen without any partitions. Please see the attached pictureIMG_0385.JPG

I have no problem with my other two computers and laptop (Toshiba). those computers and laptop are installed from DVD. Was that because I installed this laptop from USB Drive?

Thanks again!

I will re-create a USB boot drive again with the above instructions and try it again. will post result

I did re-created USB boot drive with the above instructions. Same result.
Any inputs, suggestions is greatly appreciated

You will need to find the driver for that system, however, I would have thought it might be a part of the Win8 install.
May want to contact Sony.
But you can also look Here for the driver yourself,, unfortunately I do not know which install you will need. I am not familiar with that model
It will need to reside on a USB device, such as the one that you have Windows 8 on, might work.

However, that system is supposed to fully support Win8

I have thought of that, but dont know which drivers I need. I already have contacted Sony, but they said they dont support dual boot. I will try your link today when I go home.

thanks
