The more I read the various forums here and elsewhere and especially the Microsoft Windows 8 ones, I am convinced that there are a whole lot of people out there that think Windows 8 is a programme rather than an operating system.
Questions like "I don't like Windows 8 how can I uninstall it?", or "How can I access my Windows 7 now that I installed Windows 8 (on the same partition)" abound and I just look at these posts incredulously and wonder what planet these people were born on !!
Then there are the hundreds of people who cheerfully got rid of their OEM Vista or Windows 7 and installed beta Windows 8 and now are desperate to know what happens when the 'trial' ends. I think it was a grave mistake for Microsoft to allow such a wide distribution of beta versions of the OS.
Sorry folks but I just had to vent - it saves me strangling these people, metaphorically of course.
