I thought that the Metro Solitaire wasn't connected, but it turns out that it works if you click the daylights out of it. Is everyone having this problem or is it only me?

Wow, I can't believe they managed to break solitaire.

I know my computer is aging (3yrs) but there is no reason to have to wait for solitaire to load and selecting cards can often take more clicks than necessary. And whats with the parental warning?

Way to spoil my boredom fun MS.

But, Admittedly a low quality graphics card on my test machine, but are you guys finding solitaire a little chunky and slow, compared top that other one we have been so used to over the years?

Yes, once it is running and cards are rippin', it's alright then.

Sometimes when I double click a card it doesn't respond to my very quick tap tap.

Dave, I've played two other Solitaire games on Win8, and it isn't my machine. The Win 8 Solitaire is slow and requires frequent clicking.

Ah! Yes, Gman. I have found that. Odd, because if I alter the double click interval in the Mouse control panel, it responds in all the tried places, except on the solitaire game.

No I don't get that Dwarf ,just the solid blue screen, I would Have thought my graphic cards could handle that proggy (2x8500gt's in SLI) ,Will try uninstalling and reinstalling

Probably against rules, but if you use Google Chrome - go to their apps store and get the World of Solitaire - free, lightning fast, customisable, sensitive to mouse pointer and about 50 different games to play.

Tks. I googled from reading your post. It doesn't have anything to do with the use of Chrome - IE also gets you there. Online is quite good, but the desktop zip file is ok for me - back in business! lol
Woops. Later. cancel that! I had some drag and drop probs with the desktop version. But the online version is good enough.
