Hello,
I have problem with skype.
When I open it and log in it doesn't show like I'm online. I can't even send IM mesages, I only see gray circle on the right side spining :P
Sometimes when I restart it It all works. But most of the time it doesn't :(
I tried changing port number, reinstaling skype... etc. Nothing helped :P
Also skype.exe can't be killed in TM. I get info that Acess is denied.

I use windows 8 and latest version of skype.

Can someone please help me solve this?
Thank you :)

I haven't received grey circles myself in a while but I have experienced these before when my internet was kicking in and out. Are you positive your internet is staying up? Do you have any anti virus programs running? (malwarebytes etc)

While doing a couple of google searches to see if there were any other possible reasons which may help to explain it I did run across this.

1. Close Skype.

2. Ensure that "Show hidden files and folders" is switched on.

3. Click Start and then Run...

4. Type %appdata%\skype and click OK.

5. Delete the shared.xml file.

6. Restart Skype. The shared.xml file will be recreated. Skype will start up and work again like normal.

I uninstalled Skype with Revo and instaled portable one...
It works fine for now... :D
Thans :)
