I gotta get me one of those. I've already ordered some stuff at Crucial before: memory sticks.

At the moment, only my ram gets 8.1.
Laptop (newer) cpu is 7.8, not bad at all.
And as usual, the hdd is laming behind (5.9), but I can live with that for now.

Is your 3770K @ stock?

It's a nice CPU:
ARK | Intel® Core

Seems to start with 3.5ghz and goes up to 3.9ghz in turbo.

I'm using i7-3630QM for laptop, with a slightly lower score.
I guess it's @ stock.

Am I the only one who got a big deduction of scores from w8? my wei was 4,3 (graphics of course) in w7pro x64 with a 5,2 at gaming graphics (which is a joke really as the onboard is not capable of any gaming whatsoever) and 6,3 for the processor...

Figured I might as well jump in too!

System is an Athlon II x3 440, unlocked to 4 cores & running @ 3.4ghz.
I had a better hard drive I planned to install to, but it crapped out.
And I gave away my blistering graphics card because I quit playing games to focus on other tasks, thus the onboard graphics score.

Despite the "low" appearing score, it feels very fast.

In fact, I have a laptop that I run w8 on that's nowhere near as powerful even as this desktop, and w8 runs well on it too. Can't get a WEI score on it though thanks to a directx error during assessment.

Most of us experienced a slightly increase in the CPU score but not that high!
