Show us your WEI

Wondering why my graphics subscore downclocked. Way back Windows 7 it was 6.9

Got a nice little bump in the CPU score after OCing from 3.8 to 4.5. Still bottlenecked by the HDD though.

You might want to consider upgrading to a SSD there. That will not only improve your WEI but of course the entire user experiece of your system. But be aware ==> once you've upgraded to a SSD you don't want to go back anymore and all the 'normal' systems you encouter will give you the creeps because everything is sooooooo slow :geek:

Setup:

AsRock Z77 Extreme 4
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3 1600
Intel i5 3570k 3.4 Ghz Quad Core
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550TI w/Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 as PhysX
Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SataIII SSD
Sound Blaster Z Sound Card

Sandy Bridge still keepin' up with the Haswells
How is a 7.9 CPU score keeping up with an 8.2?

Keeping up != better than. Haswell is obviously the superior architecture, however most of Intel's improvements have come in the form of the integrated GPU and power efficiency. Compared to previous Intel generations, the difference isn't nearly as much in terms of straight performance for desktop processors.

OC doesn't effect the WEI-Scores, as far I know.

:)

It seems the WEI resets all settings and uses High-Performance power scheme and with the CPU in a normal (factory-highest + turbo) frequency.

The OC frequencies will revert back to your mode after the assessment is finished.

I've monitored this with an underclocking so I suppose it's the same with overclocking... the hardware is tested with all settings to default, without any self-made mods so to speak. :)
