Show us your WEI

Wow thanks. That makes my WEI figure of 5.5 for ram even more of a mystery to me. I'm running 8GB of 1600MHz. Admittedly it's a 32 bit Windows 8 system on a partition of a Macbook Pro (so only a little over 2GB of the ram is recognised), but it's still surprising it can't manage a better figure than 5.5

Update I replaced my EVGA 590 with a 580 and my score went UP; I suspect WEI only looks at one GPU, Old score 7.4 New 8.0

My latest WEI (prior to PC rebuild)...

Here's my baseline WEI on my 5 year old desktop that is being "upgraded" this weekend (new motherboard, CPU and RAM). This is a Q6600 CPU with 6GB of RAM and a GTX-650 video card...

Thanks! I just found out that it will be at least a few more days until the new motherboard arrives, so that gives me time to perform all baseline tests, take pics of the "before" and plan my project. My new PC replaces my old main one, my old main one goes to my wife and her PC goes to a friend, so this is a "cascade" of sorts....

WEI.JPG

This is weird and WRONG... especially the graphics' score part...
If i run graphics @ PCI-E 2.0 i get 6.5, without SLI - 6.3... what the hell?!?!?!
I run ANY and i mean ANY modern game on my 2560x1600 monitor
ABSOLUTELY maxed out and i get over 60fps 100% of the time and yet this piece of
garbage WEI shows maximum of 6.8, same as some people get with a single GT9800...

ASRock X79 Extreme 6
i7 3930k @ 4.4GHz 1.288v (Prime95 Stable 24/7)
32GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2133Mhz (9-11-10-28)
2 x SLI EVGA GTX680 SC 2GB @ PCI-E 3.0 (GeForce 310.90 w/Registry Mod)
256GB Plextor M3 SSD (main)

I don't think the WEI is for gamers. I believe that M$ uses a combination of factors, probably focused upon performance in Windows, 2D and that kind of thing. It's a synthetic benchmark and nothing to get upset about...
