Show Us Your Rig!

The 980 gave me around 74°C on Heaven at Extreme settings, I haven't checked while gaming yet. It handles pretty well temperature wise.

The red SATAs are stopgaps, I needed straight > straight to connect to those drive bays and that's all I had laying around, hence why they're not routed properly as they'll be coming back out. I have me some black braided ones on order. :)

I have probably uploaded my machine, more than once to this thread, but cant really help it,"upgrades" or "layout" changes,do add a bit of "charm" to the case. This time, adding two Blue Caviar's to a blue 'n black themed rig,is just an excuse to "showoff",whatever the specs are...

210620151900.jpg

210620151899.jpg

Main point is,after "tinkering" with that case for some years now,I strongly believe, that the Chieftec Dragon,is one of the best old-school cases built. So "strongly" manufactured,it survived"deriveting" twice, paint jobs and lots of "chop offs".When a case like that, hits your door for a second time, here we go again...

Blue Dragon is running on 2500k,while the Green one is a "maxed" out 775 socket ,Q9550 with 8 gigs of RAM,both considered as finished projects.
Next one is going under water...

Nothing special. Stock out of the box HP 1534 ENVY. Video card in my last box was toast. Wasn't worth spending $$$ for a video card. Not when I'd planned on doing a 'build' when support for XP ended. Oh well.

I'm not a gamer so I don't kneed something extreme. It's got the oomph to convert video. Other than that, I surf and listen to music. It does the job for me.

SSD is attached to the SSD cage behind the motherboard tray.
In the bottom of the second pic I have the NZXT IU01 internal USB hub attached to the drive cage.

The 450D looks really good with the two front LED fans. Sadly I do not have that picture. I just wish that Coolermaster came out with 140mm Jetflo's as I think the wall of light effect of the JetFlo's would look even better.

Cable management is a pain with a non-modular PSU. This is why I am contemplating changing to either an AX860i or an HX850i from Corsair.
