C:\Windows\system32>sfc/scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.

The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot.

any help appreciated

btw here's the sfcdetails ( i used this command findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt ) :p

Now the system got frozen
I cant do anything other than moving mouse cruiser
The dism thing was stuck @ 20% for more than half hour

Should I force reboot ? :(

If you don't have any HDD activity from it, then yeah you could, and try again. If you do have activity, then it would be best to wait and let it finish.

If it fails or freezes again, then you may need to refresh Windows 8 instead. :(

there was no hdd activity so i did it , after the reboot it showed updating ur system
so now i will try to run sfc/scannow again :)
