I ran into this problem because GTA V always crashes on startup. Rockstar support told me to do the scan. I did it five times with no prevail. None of my other games or programs are affected. I still want to repair the corrupt files. How do I do so. I've included the details .txt file.

Please help :(

Hello Katfro, and welcome to Eight Forums. :)

Good news. You have nothing to worry about. Your SFC details show that it's just the false hash mismatch for files related to the KB3068708 update. There's nothing that needs to be done.

See the red warning box at the top of the tutorial below for more details if you like.

Oh my goodness you have no idea how relieved I am. I got my computer like 6 months ago and people are saying on other threads I should get a new hard drive and stuff. Thanks! I'll continue to pursue the problem with Rockstar customer support

Hey Tony,

Yep, it's the same for you. Nothing to worry about, or anything that needs to be done. :)
