sfc/scan now errors: bad with computers, please help!

Hello, randomly my computer started giving me problems. All of my start menu icons went away, half of my desktop icons went away, my background also disappeared.. Furthermore, Some games don't work, my IE icon went away (fixed that) and I can not access my document folder. It says it is unavailable, if location is on pc make sure drive is connected or disc is available...

sfc/scan now does not work either

I have tried googling this for about 3 hours and trying to do it on my own but nothing works. Can someone lend a hand?

Have you run sfc scan with this command as well?
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

You can download DISM Fix, it contains sfc scan along with other commands, run it as admin.
For background, you might need to to disable active desktop. Download reg, run and restart.

ugh none of these worked for me... I am clueless.. is there a way one of you could VNC my computer and take it over and try things out?

Have you checked for virus/malware?

Can also run chkdsk /r but it will take quite awhile to complete, possibly hours.

Honestly I'm not sure how to check for those

I got antivirus and malware programs and it deleted all it found.. still same problem

I do have a restore point however when I do that, the problem still exists

when I try to go into windows and refresh or restart, it says files are missing and I can not do it.. debating on bringing it into a computer specialist store
