We are doing to have data loss, the newest backup is 18 hours old

I've got a ticket in now for the drive to be replaced and then I need to re install msql and re-import the db, I think we're talking about 3 hours before we are back up and running.

Not good. I thought that they were in a RAID 5 or so setup that could be restored?

Yes RAID 5 can lose 1 disk without issue. RAID 5e can lose 2 disks without issue, RAID 6 can lose 2 or more if you set it up that way. -WS

They were on Raid 10 on the old server, but I got no speed increase so only went for single SSD's on this new server.

I think there is a lesson there and I'll look at it when we are back up.

The old SF server with the RAID10 wasn't scheduled for reclaim until tomorrow - I've now canceled the reclaim and think it may be best to move us back onto that.
