Macrium will create a full system image and when used it will restore to the point the image, any changes after image creation will be lost..

System Restore will undo recent changes - say you install a program and something happens - it will restore back to before program

Custom Refresh Image is some what like marcium except it only creates an image of the windows partition, not the system..

And I only use windows defender.. I just don't care to use 3rd party software..

i just tried system restore just now to undo my recent installed program, however still there's folders leftover. So if i use macrium, there would be no left over? Thnx
