You can Search by pulling on Charms Bar and click on Search or you can click on Run and type in Command Prompt. I don't know what to type in Command Prompt like Find or something. When I type in Find for a split second there's a black Dos Command windows appearing then disappearing. In other words, I'm trying to find a shortcut to Search by pulling the Charms Bar. Thanks.

You can search from the command prompt by using dir/s.
For example, if you want to find the file, "schedule.txt" you would enter:
cd\ (to search from the top level of the C drive)
then:
dir/s schedule.txt <enter>
Searching from the top level can take a minute or more.
