Solved Saving Photo Attachments From Windows 8 Mail App

Can any one tell me how to save photo attachments received via the mail app in Windows 8 ?

Push download (if it applies). Then right click to choose option. If touch, I would think holding it gives same right-click menu.

No download option available i'm afraid. However, thanks for suggestion. It seems such a simple requirement. There has to be a simple solution ?

Fairly new to this myself. I tested by sending an email with attached pic to myself. There was a download option that I would think to be a safety feature. Once it downloaded I then right clicked for options menu.

Do you have the latest version of the app. Does your Store tile on the Start screen have a number on it? That's the amount of apps that need to be updated. If so, open the Store app and click on the number in the upper right corner. It will take you to updating.

Thanks Hippsie. Updated the app and did a test by sending a pic attachment to myself as you did. Worked fine and was able to save it as I had been trying to achieve. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for pics already downloaded before the app was updated, but at least I can now save any pic attachments that come in.
