Hi guys,

I am planning to get a new graphics card. These are the two cards that I am looking at -
Asus AMD/ATI R9 270X Direct CUII 2GB GDDR5 and Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R9 270X with Boost OC 4 GB DDR5

I am inclined to choose Asus, but the Sapphire card comes with 4 GB memory as compared to 2 GB of Asus. Which one should be a better option for gaming? The price of the cards are more or less same, so that's not a problem.

Thanks in advance!

Go for the one with 4GB. A larger frame buffer makes a big difference for high-res and multi-monitor configurations.

If you are shooting for GTA V or similar new games, 4 GB of VRAM is imperative for higher games settings.

I would recommend buying the 4 GB one. Modern games are badly optimized and consumes VRAM like a hungry beggar. One particular example is recently launched "GTA 5". Even 4 GB VRAM is not enough for that ( if you push it to the limits ).
