"Right click > Open with" doesn't work properly.

Right clicking a GIF or PNG file and telling the system to open it with Paint Shop Pro brings up the message
"This app can't run on your PC
To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher."

However, if I open Paint Shop Pro I can drag and drop either a GIF or PNG into it and they open ok.

Is there a way to get the "Open with" to work?

I'd wonder if the message isn't actually referring to the .exe file for the program, have seen infections cause it.

No. As I said in my first post I can open Paint Shop Pro.

Over in w7f, I answered my own question -- two clicks from the abovementioned web site, I found and downloaded the zip file.

Although the problem was solved, it has reappeared - don't know why.

When I click on Register, after entering the path top the required file, I now get a window saying "An error occurred... -2147024891"

The comment/feedback link on the author's site doesn't work and I see no other method of making contact with him.

Is anyone familiar with the program and know what that error message means?
