Hello Vahidjavani, and welcome to Eight Forums.

The default user account picture image you are wanting is in the hidden system folder below.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Default Account Pictures

You can change your user picture as usual, and select the default picture in the folder above to use.

If you like, you could also delete the recent pictures you had previously used so that they do not display in PC settings next to the current picture anymore.

Hope this helps, :)
Shawn

Ok. I stand corrected. But, I have no:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Default Account Pictures

nor

%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures

View attachment 33132

If I paste the code in File Explorer, I get nothing. I have Folder Options set to "Show hidden files".

This is what I see at the highest order of hierarchy while searching for account pic in my Modern/Metro account settings:

While I'm at it, why am I getting .old copies of SkyDrive folders? Is it safe to delete them?

SkyDrive.old Snip.PNG

You'll notice in the 1st snip I also have a "McAffee" and "Epson" folders of which I never installed. What's that about?

Hmm, odd. They should be at the folders below in Windows 8.1. Was this a clean install of Windows 8.1?

It was an upgrade via the Store. I've had the same pic for quite a long time > 2 to 3 years. Since early 7 really. Just changed it recently.
