Solved Resume Windows 7 from Hibernate Windows Error Recovery Appear

Hello guys,

I may ask it here, because this query already posted on SevenForums.
because it might be a conflict or something related to Windows 8 boot up ...

I just want to ask how can I resolve when I try to hibernate from Windows 7, and then powering-On my laptop it wont resume directly to Windows 7 where I hibernated it.

instead it asks me to choose for which OS to load, and when I choose Windows 7 from the boot menu,
It takes me to Windows Error Recovery menu, that we can choose from;

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
and Normal boot...

Why it asks me to choose a OS to load where I hibernated my system, it should directly load my Windows 7.
and also Why Windows Error Recovery appears when I hibernate my system, no power failure made (battery is full)

This is my routine on my laptop:

Usually, I use Windows 7 as my main OS, set the power plan to sleep for 5minutes when in battery mode - hibernate after 3hrs.

so, when I go to sleep, i just close my laptops lid, it goes to sleep mode normally, and after 3hrs it will hibernate.
now when I turn-on my laptop using the power button, it goes where I mentioned (it asks for which os to load, choose windows 7, then Windows Error Recovery appears saying Windows was not properly shutdown)

For some reason, your system is not making bsod logs. That severely dampens my abilities to provide a quick fix.

I do notice though that the video card driver could use an update:

AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250

You could Google for how to set the machine to make "small memory dump" logs and set Windows as so. If it does this again, see if there is a folder C:\Windows\Minidump and/or a file C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp

I dont experienced BSODS on both OS (windows 8 & windows 7)
for the driver of my video card, I tried the updated 12.2 from AMD but it causes undesirable behaviour on my PC, so I use the driver version supplied from my HP G62-340US instead.

I now set Write an event to system log enabled, and NO file memory.dmp or Windows\Minidump

Maybe when you notice it happens again, there will be logs this time.

I tried to remove windows 8 from dual boot, now my system directly boots into windows 7..

and try to hibernate, after powering ON, still Windows Error Recovery appears;

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Safe Mode with Networking
and Start Windows Normally..

I think Windows 7 Boot is the problem, I Tried Startup Repair from Windows 7 USB Disk, it cannot fix..
I also noticed that the boot logo it doesn't look like from default Windows 7 Boot Logo, now it looks like Vista (green progress bar only)

I now manage to solve this issue (Hibernate and Resuming works good now)

What really happen was i forgot that I used BootUpdater (A windows boot customization tool)

I run the app again, and use restore option, now hibernate works fine.
when you try to customize your boot logo in BootUpdater, it creates bootmgr~1 backup,
now by using restore, it restores bootmgr~1 to bootmgr (maybe its a folder) dont really know
still, the problem is now resolve.

My solution to Win 7 hibernation. Win 7 is my main drive. When I try to bring up Win 7, I get a black screen. Then I toggle between Escape and the off button(which normally shut down the computer). Generally in toggling I hit the power button for about 2 sec and then escape for 1 second and the rest hit the power button. It will go into sleep and then open up to the password screen in Windows 7.
