Solved Reset Your PC. Please wait

so I changed my hdd on my hp prebook 4540s to a hdd from a friend but I don't have his password so I just went into troubleshoot and reset my pc.
im not sure whether its 8 or 8.1 v of the windows
I chose reset my pc and now its in a scree that says what I wrote in the title of this thread.
im worried im going to be stuck in here. someone tell m what I did wrong or if this is normal?
its been like that for 15 minutes now

Welcome to the forum. So oif I understand you put in a HD from another pc and then tried to use the reset pc with the comtents of the disk from another pc?
If thats so the problem is the pc will be setup for another system and may not have drivers for your pc or it may be a OEM verion locked to a bios
