Request: Please make Windows 8.1 updates reinstall Bluetooth drivers, if accidentally deleted?

My drivers were accidentally deleted and I'm being told that the only way to get them back is to run a system restore and risk losing everything.

You would have to, with device specs in hand, go to the manufacturer's drivers page, download and install.

I tried that and it didn't work. All anyone is telling me, is to use the Refresh option, which is risky.
