The installation disc did not work either. I uninstalled that update that you told me about (it was pushed to me 5/12) but it did not fix the missing file problem.Does anyone know where I can find good copies of these files? I think it would be easier to replace each file individually rather than having to remove all my personal files (over 1TB) and start with a fresh install. I'm trying to avoid that at all costs because it will take days to restore the PC to working order from a clean start.I've tried googling for these files but cannot find them.
