This is a question which may defy catergorisation, when inserting batteries into the TV remote control (a Virgin media item) which arrived yesterday I noticed a six (6) pin male connector similar to what you find on a desktop motherboard, is this for quality control at manufacture or is the remote capable of being flashed for whatever reason?

I did exactly that and they could not get their head around the question. Thank's for the response though, the fact that it isn't a pressing issue is something of an understatement.

It's probably some testing terminal, My Cox Cable remote has one - I'd take a pic but I couldn't post it. Is it two rows of 3 pins? Yah don't worry about that.
