Solved Question about the snap left/right in windows 8

Hey all,

I know in windows 8 your able to play a charm (netflix) and snap it too the right and watch a small 2" by 4" screen, but is there a way to half and half it? so you can have it taking up half the screen while still being able to use windows desktop?

Assuming you are talking about Netflix App, just use half of the screen for it, the other for desktop.

In my laptops 1600*900 display it is not very practical due the fact that I keep a wide Taskbar vertically at left:

But on my secondary 1920*1080 display it's totally usable:

Yes, in Windows 8.1 with update 1 you can do it.

Put your mouse cursor on the three dots and see if you can drag the bar over to half screen.
