Hi all ! I have a Lenovo K450 desktop that came with a wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has a couple of malfunctioning keys and I now have a new (identical model SK-8861) keyboard. I have found out :(where I should be able to delete and add new hardware in "settings" but it doesn't detect the new keyboard when I " scan for new remote devices". Does anyone have experience of swapping out wireless keyboards ?

HI have you un installed the old keyboard in the control panel, once that is done u may have to restart your laptop.
did new keyboard come with a software disc if it did then insert that and it should install the new drivers and get your keyboard back up and running I take it you have a mouse that still works

Problem swapping wifi Keyboard

Hi there !
Thanks for the help. As a PC user , part of my problem was that with no disc, if I deleted the driver and rebooted, I would have no means of re-enstating a new driver. In the end, a Lenovo techie gave me a procedure involving unplugging the dongle, powering off the kybd, holding down some function keys and reconnecting it all again. It worked fine. So..... If anyone has the same problem with a Lenovo wifi kybd I'd be happy to help out ! Thanks again.
