That's one of the reasons why MS developed the Start Screen. Users plastering icons on the Taskbar and Desktop. Don't blame them whatsoever for that's what I did. Even tried expanding the Taskbar, but it starts to cover up some of the desktop, unless one autohides it, which is a PITA.

Look at the "Show your desktop" threads of the forums. Most do it. Those that don't hide the icons before taking a screenshot for there's no recycle bin. "I use the Start Menu" my arse! :p

That was my "End Menu". WinKey > Right arrow > Enter. The only thing I really used it for. (snicker, snicker) ;)

i have no idea how to fix the x's in the corner of the apps. had to contact the pc maker to get them to fix them because NONE of them worked after the last batch of updates.

I had been running Windows 10 TP, but then chose to revert and had to delete a bunch of my Store apps as they borked. Decided to keep them uninstalled as I don't need them.
