Here's my desktop. I like it clean and simple, icons are made by me modified from Metro Icons on Deviant art, WP by me, clock is T-Clock.

Here's a window open using white text titlebars and such from a Deviant Art Theme, also using a windows border tool to make the borders less fat :) and also Ribbon Disabler
