Don't expect any usable information on that or any MS website. Their solutions all encompass installing cack you absolutely do not need.
Whatever you got going, post it here. But if you wan't 8.1 advice, I'll give it - Don't Install it, stick with 8. From what I see, it will save you a lot of aggravation.

Microsoft really screwed up again, I think the whole generally public who's not already on Windows 8 will come to think Windows 8.1 is a whole new operating system which might work in Microsoft's favor for increase in sales.
