Recently a helpful functionality has disappeared in Windows 8.1. 
When I right click on a desktop icon, there is no longer an option to pin to taskbar. There is an option to pin to start, but there used to be both. Also, if I drag the icon down to the taskbar, it used to pin it, but now it tries to pin to one of the existing icons that are pinned.
Has something changed that I was not aware of?? Do I need to do a System Restore to be able to pin to taskbar??
