A picture password is a new way to help protect your Windows 8 computer or touchscreen PC. You can choose to use any picture, and the three gestures you use with the picture, to create a strong unique password for your user account in Windows 8.

This tutorial will show you how to replay and relearn the current set of three gestures for your picture password if forgotten in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

Here's How:

1. Open PC settings, and do step 2 or 3 below for what Windows 8 you have.

2. In Windows 8 or Windows RT, click/tap on Users in the left pane, click/tap on Change picture password in the right pane, and go to step 4 below. (see screenshot below)

7. When finished, you will need to repeat the three gestures again exactly in the same size, position, and direction as given in step 5, but without any example gesture given to you this time. (see screenshot below)
NOTE: If you make a mistake while drawing your gestures, then you could click on the Start Over button.

NOTE: You could click on the Exit button to stop trying to learn your picture password at anytime if you do not wish to continue trying to learn it.
