How to Show or Hide Contacts for Specific Accounts in People App in Windows 8 and 8.1

The People app is a Store app that is included by default in Windows 8. It helps to bring all your contacts together in one place. See what’s new with your friends, and join in the conversation by adding your own comments and updates. You can quickly add your email contacts, your social networks, the people you follow on Facebook, Twitter, and more to one central contact list when you use the People app.
By default, all contacts from the accounts you've added will appear in your contact list. This tutorial will show you how to hide or show all contacts from specific accounts in your People app in Windows 8 and 8.1.
No matter what account you hide contacts from, your favorite contacts won't be hidden, and all contacts will be available in search results.

For example, it could be handy to hide all contacts from social network accounts that you do not want to help only have contacts you want on the People app homepage.
Here's How:
1. On the Start screen, click/tap on the People app to open it.
2. While in the People app, open the Charms bar, and click/tap on the Settings charm.
NOTE: You could also press the Windows + I keys to open the Settings charm.
3. In the Settings charm, click/tap on Options. (see screenshot below)
4. Do step 5 or 6 below for what you would like to do.
5. To Hide All Contacts from an Added Account in People App
