Solved .pdf pics open but I can't manipulate anything.

The pics just open full size in a window. No controls, no way to copy or paste. Nothing.

Running a new HP Envy computer.


Do I need this??? I have it on my Windows 7. Does anyone know anything about this site??? FREE????? Really????

If you are going to be doing any downloading of Adobe Acrobat do it from here https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/products/pdf-reader.html
Adobe Reader basic is free, Pro versions or more advanced versions cost money. You may be opening PDF files in a different application that came preinstalled with your machine.

It is best to download software and updates from the official source. Softonic is relatively safe but there are many websites that offer to update adobe acrobat or other software that are just trying to trick you into installing malware.

I have had quite a few pdf files that are 'locked' by the author, preventing any action at my end. I was recently sent a form to fill in but its read only. I have Reader but not going to pay silly money for anything else.

I steer clear of softronic, many programmes contain malware. I use Major Geeks, they guarantee no malware.
