I installed Realtek LAN driver downloaded from Dell website and still this driver isn't properly installed. My laptop model is Inspiron 15 3521 and running Windows 8.1 x64. Please help me add this driver. Thanks in advance.

Well PCI Simple Communications Controller is listed under "Other devices" (Shown in the pic above). Everything under "Network adapters" are ok. It's a Windows 8.1 x64 system. I installed Intel chipset drivers too. Still nothing.

You need to figure out what it is and install the correct driver. If everything is listed OK under network Devices it isn't your Realtek NIC. What's not working? It could be your onboard sound, card reader, etc. In Device Manager go to the properties for that device. Then go to the Details Tab and under "Property" select hardware ids. If you Goggle one of the lines listed for that it should lead you to what it is. Once you sort out what it is you can install the driver for it.

Generally it's the chipset driver that has the PCI SCC attached along with the SMU bus driver and a few others.

Like I said, figure out what it is and then hunt up a driver for it. You haven't filled in your system specs so all anybody can do is guess at this point. "PCI Simple Communications Controller" just means Windows doesn't know what it is exactly.

So how can I add this driver?

Need the exact make/model of your PC. If it's a Dell you'll need to go to Dell's site and plug in your service tag number which will bring you to your PC's specific software/drivers page. Then look for the driver that has the name "chipset" in it.
