How to Clear PC Settings Recent Usage History in Windows 8.1

This tutorial will show you how to clear your recently used PC settings history for your account in Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1.

EXAMPLE: Recently used PC settings
NOTE: Your recently used PC settings will be on the right side under Recent.
Here's How:
1. Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below.
Clear_PC_settings_Recent_Usage_History.reg
2. Save the REG file to your desktop.
3. Double click/tap on the REG file to merge it.
NOTE: This deletes the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Usage registry key for only the current account.
4. If prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.
5. If PC settings is open, then close and reopen recently used PC settings to see the change.
6. When finished, you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
