I have recently had my first program published on the Windows Store.
A PayPal Fees Calculator. It's a very simple, yet very useful piece of kit.
If you have Windows 8 do feel free to download it and please do rate it.
It's 100% free to download. No ads either. It's a totally non-profit project.
I am a programming student and I'm at college doing BTEC National Diploma.

Thank you. As part of my course I'm doing programming.
Well, I was for the first semester (sadly that's over now).
I hadn't done any programming at all before September 2012.
But I loved it so much I spend a lot of my free time self-teaching.
I have dreams of becoming a programmer for Microsoft, one day.

Good for you! Never let anyone stand in the way of your ambitions, but don't run them over. :)

I'm nearing retirement. I'm seriously thinking of taking some courses for writing so as to develop apps.

Good wishes to you. :)

I have been developing bits and bobs lately. But nothing worth publishing, except the PayPal Fees Calculator. :) I am working on a GUI FTP Client at the moment and I have to say the project is proving to be quite a challenge.
