How to Change Default Size of Paint White Background in Windows
Information
This tutorial will show you how to change the default size of the white background (blank drawing area) when you open Paint (mspaint.exe) for your user account in Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
Note
- When you open Paint, the white background in Paint will be the same size as it was when Paint was last closed by default.
- Changing the size of the white background will not affect what you are currently working on in Paint.
- When you open (File (Alt+F)) an image in Paint, the white background will automatically adjust to the same size as the image.
- When you paste (CTRL + V ) an image in Paint, the white background will only automatically adjust to the same size as the image if the white background is currently smaller than the image.
