Hi,I've been experiencing an issue with my laptop,as the title says,it overheats whenever I play a game(Mostly with high resolution/graphics),and shuts down, and I have to wait a while for it to cool down before I can boot the laptop up again.
When I first got this laptop,I was able to play games for a few months without overheating, but all of a sudden it just started to overheat and shut down.
System specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Motherboard: TOSHIBA Portable PC
BIOS: 6.30
RAM: 4.00 GB
HDD: TOSHIBA MK6475GSX
Sound card: (1) Realtek High Definition Audio (2) AMD High Definition Audio Device
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Single Language 64-bit 9200 Multiprocessor Free

I'll try cleaning it up.Also whenever I play a game while the laptop is charging, the charging icon keeps lighting on and off again and again, and my game lags whenever that happens. This is the temperature and fan speed while I play a game.

Edit:Also I was using a cooling pad.

No,but I ran Piriform Speccy and this is what I got during normal use,I was not running any programs while I took this screenshot and the temperature was above 80.

Too hot. :(

I have an older Acer that now, when doing high-stress things, not only has an external cooling pad, but also aimed at the proc corner is a Walmart $5.00 AC 5" fan -- together, no more sudden shutdowns.

I finally figured out what's causing this probelm. As popeye said and I quote:
Your power brick could also be going bad.
There is something wrong with my power brick,as I said when I charge and play games, the charging indicator light goes on and off repeatedly and my game lags at the moment that happens. So I charged my laptop upto 100% and gamed(without a cooling pad/fan) to see if it overheats and shuts down, and it didn't,I was able to play without any problems. So when the low battery warning appeared,I plugged in the charger, and the indicator went on and off again, game lagged, also the battery low warning would pop up and dissapear from time to time, laptop started to overheat and eventually shut down.
So I'm gonna have to get another charger and see if that works, also see if there is anything wrong with the fan.

So I'm using a new power brick, and twin fans and I checked the temperature for any changes and noticed it dropped, also when gaming I'm not experiencing any overheating.
So thank you everyone for your help.
