This answer has absolutely nothing to do with my problem or question. I know how to bring up the on-screen keyboard once I'm in Windows, a process I almost never use. My problem is only at log in. I use a pin to log in, so I sort of misspoke when I said on-screen keyboard as it's actually the on-screen numeric keypad. However, these two touch keypads are not even the same applet as the one on the desktop. I don't know if the on-screen keyboard has the same problem or not, as I rarely use it to log in (only if I'm logged out of my Microsoft account). When one touches the line where you type in your pin a numeric keypad pops up automatically. However, when I touch the first (or sometimes not until I touch the second) number of my pin the keypad will disappear. I have to touch somewhere else on the screen and then touch the line where the pin goes. But the keypad doesn't always pop back up and when it does I can only touch one more number, which may or may not actually input, before the keypad disappears again. You can see how this can soon become quite frustrating. I'm quite certain that these keypads are different, as I can bring up the on-screen keypad you're talking about and the other keypad will also pop up and the two look almost nothing alike.
