Solved On a Homegroup, Cant file share with just one pc

MY office has 5 computers, we are on a homegroup. I want to share one file on the Netwroking Computer with just two computers. When I right click to share file, it gives me an option to share with everyone or just my computer, the other 4 computers dont show up.

Any third party Firewall/Internet Security loaded on the machines?

That would be the issue. You would need to make the local LAN as being allowed to have all machines communicate. See Norton 360 V3.0 File Sharing Problems | Norton Community Set the Local LAN as Full Trust for all machines.

Most like myself firmly believe in not using all in one security products like Norton. On my son's machine, I just have it set for Windows Firewall when on Public LAN's and Microsoft Security Essentials for A/V scanning.

Wow that is something I did not know. I will have to look into that further. I just use norton becuase that is what I grew up with and never had any issues until now. Thank you!
